RED DEER – In what will most likely be the home stretch of Mitch Marner’s junior career, what better place to finish it then the Memorial Cup. Barring from the world junior’s, the Leaf prospect has enjoyed a wondrous season.

Marner was third in OHL scoring with 116 points, wins the Red Tilson Award for the OHL’s Most Valuable Player, then come playoff time goes on a tear, leading the OHL playoff scoring race with 44 points, while leading the Knights to a record 13 straight playoff winning streak, not to mention winning OHL Playoff MVP.

In a season for the ages, Marner is clearly too good for the Knights next season, and will most likely be with the Leafs next season, icing on the cake to end his magical season, would be a Memorial Cup title.

From highlight goals, and off-ice antics, Mitch Marner turned the London Knights into a show, just like Magic Johnson once did with his Lakers. Here are the highlights from the Showtime Knights, starring Mitch Marner:
